How United Pet Club Inc. is governed: membership classes, weighted voting pools, and recorded decisions.
United Pet Club Inc. is governed by its members. The club's Articles (v1.0, adopted 2026) establish four membership classes, each holding a fixed share of the total vote. Votes are carried by people, not money: voting weight comes from membership class, never from payment size.

How the pools work
- Equal weight within a class. Each class's pool is divided equally among its voting members — every member of a class carries the same weight.
- Empty classes redistribute. If a class has no members, its pool is redistributed proportionally across the classes that do.
- Abstentions are never redistributed. An abstention reduces the votes cast; it does not hand its weight to anyone else.
- Record dates. Each ballot snapshots the membership at a record date, so who may vote — and in which class — is fixed before voting opens.

Does giving more money buy more votes?
No. Money and votes are separate by design: donations and fees fund the mission, while voting weight comes only from membership class — and within a class, every member counts the same.
Who can vote on a ballot?
Members who belong to a voting class as of that ballot's record date. Joining after the record date means voting from the next ballot on.

On the United Pet Club platform — membership itself (joining, upgrading, renewing) is handled at unitedpetclub.com, not on this corporate site.
